Who we are

The National Organ for the Protection and Promotion of Childhood was established by the Prime Minister, by Law No. 15/12 of 28 Ramadan 1436 corresponding to July 15, 2015
relating to child protection. It is responsible for protecting and promoting children’s rights

We are associations active in the field of child protection and promotion in Algeria. Our field activities have resulted in an urgent need

How we are Working

The National organ for Child Protection is appointed, by presidential decree, from among the experienced and qualified national figures known for their interest in children's affairs (Article 12 of the Child Protection Law).

It is a digital space for communication between the civil society network to promote the rights of the child and an identification card for its noble tasks in the service of childhood in line with the requirements of the era based on the modernization of information.

We have chosen this occasion, which falls upon us every year, which is December 19, the date of Algeria's ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, to highlight the keenness of our dear country to serve children and to enhance their protection and promotion in accordance with national and international laws.
